EDAC (Defense and Legal Aid Team). Legal defense of persons improperly tried and jailed under internationally-condemned "anti-terrorist legislation."

GUATEMALA
ACOGUATE (Guatemala Accompaniment Program). Human Rights accompaniment for communities, institutions, and activists at risk for their human rights work.

ADIVIMA (Maya Achi Association for the Integral Development of Victims of Violence). Exhumation of mass graves and mental health work. Human rights education and training in community organization. Rabinal, Baja Verapaz.

ASCODIMAYA (Integral Mayan Development Association). Training of Mayan leaders in law, human rights and community organizing. Chimaltenango.

ASODHI (Association for Human Rights in the Ixcan). Human rights education, training and support. Ixcan, Quiche.

CEDAP (Center for Penal Justice and Conflict Resolution). Human rights and conflict resolution education and training for returned-refugee communities. Scholarships for students to study law at university. Ixcan, Quiche.

CEPAHER (Center for Popular Education "Padre Hermogenes"). Organizational training for communities and NGOs working on justice and impunity.

CODECA (Committee for Campesino Development). HR and labor rights advocacy for communities working on plantations on the South Coast plantations.

CPR-Sierra (Communities of Populations in Resistance). Emergency support for Los Cimientos community following violent, illegal eviction. Chajul, Quiche.

CRQ (Regional Qeqchi Council). Organizational development of Qeqchi communities working in exhumations, community development and restitution. Chisec, Alta Verapaz.

CUC (Committee for Campesino Unity). Support for landless movement, across country.

Wajxaqib' Noj Indigenous Defense. Legal support for Mayan women in cases of rape, divorce, child support. Salama, Baja Verapaz.

ECAP (Community Psycho-Social Action). Mental health projects for surviving victims of the repression. Baja Verapaz and Quiche.

ETESC (Community Health and Education Team). Mass grave exhumations and support for local communities. Huehuetenango.

FAFG (Guatemalan Forensic Anthropology Foundation). Exhumation of mass graves and forensic study of remains to determine identify the causes of death.

FAMDEGUA (Guatemalan Association of Family Members of the Disappeared). Mass grave exhumations, construction of monuments and legal cases for crimes of the past.

HIJOS (Sons and Daughters of the Disappeared in Guatemala). Support for their educational and outreach work related to locating the "disappeared" and having justice done for these crimes.

Manuel Colom Argueta Foundation. Support for violently evicted community of Los Cimientos. Chajul, Quiche.

Myrna Mack Foundation. Support during trial for 1990 assassination of Myrna Mack.

Xaman community. Legal support for trial against military for 1995 massacre.

CEJ / COMPA. Channeled funds to Centre for Economic Justice/ Convergence of Popular Movements in the Americas (CEJ/ COMPA).

Denese Becker/ Dominga Sic Ruiz. Organizational strengthening work with this Guatemalan/ USA woman, working to bring justice for 1982 Rio Negro massacres in Guatemala.

Caso Sandra. Protection and support for woman in hiding in Guatemala with children, after husband's assassination, trying to get asylum.

Material Support: Computers and training given to numerous partner groups.

Technical Support: Organization strengthening assistance to partner groups.
